I had this one for breakfast as I had some hummus to use up which makes a difference to my usual porridge breaky but it’s great for any time of the day.
The lemon, chilli and garlic hummus really gives flavour to this dish as the quinoa and green veg are quite plain.
This dish is also super easy to pull together meaning you’re not in the kitchen for ages but still get plenty of goodness into you, win!

These are great for a homemade valentine’s gift and they’re heart healthy too as very little heat is used therefore you get the max amount of antioxidants and phenolics from this chocolate and you add your own sweetener so you can control the sugar and purity.See my other post on the benefits of raw cacao

I used a silicone heart mould that you can easily get from amazon, this recipe fills the 15 hearts nicely but you can make more if you prefer your chocolates a little thinner

This is one of my favourite recipes and smells amazing when it’s cooking which makes a difference from the usual stuff I cook!
This granola is also far healthier than the store bought ones which I often find are loaded with refined wheat and sugar.

Ok, so this is a strange one but chilli and chocolate pair so well together in my opinion so I thought I’d try out this porridge this morning and it was delicious! The addition of the coconut oil is highly recommended as it makes it creamy and cools some of the heat.

A great pre-workout snack due to the high fibre content of all the ingredients, not to mention the protein from the chia seeds and nut butter with the added bonus of the potassium from the banana, who wouldn’t want to wake up to this?! Plus, because you did most of the work the night before you can just grab and go!

This porridge is great for boosting metabolism but the extra kick from the cayenne pepper also really heats you up which is great for those cold winter morning starts!
The combo of the coconut oil and cayenne work well together to speed up the body’s metabolism and thermogenesis (body’s ability to use calories to breakdown consumed food to heat up the body). Link:

Green tea also benefits metabolism by increasing fat burn and preventing fat storage.
The raw cacao provides wholefood high antioxidant content, chromium plus magnesium and the cinnamon helps control blood sugar levels whilst adding flavour.
