Yes, you read that correctly. A chocolate pie with benefits, woop woop!
I didn’t even realise what I had made until after it was finished, then I marvelled at it (and proceeded to fill my face with it).
It’s so good that it even got the seal of approval from health food phobic family members!

Note: This is my own personal view & not for those who have medical/belief related eating styles
I love my food, I like to eat good, proper, natural food but I wouldn’t say that I’m restricted to a specific eating style/diet/plan. I take enjoyment from all food (I eat bread, pasta, dairy, butter, eggs, meat, gluten and chocolate, but I also love green smoothies, veggie burgers and porridge, I genuinely do!) and so I would refer to myself as a flexible foodie. What I love about this is that I can dip into different styles of eating at any time which makes me more creative/inspired and able to use ingredients in new ways or a food that I wouldn’t otherwise eat. Plus I now know that wholegrain, vegan, gluten free food etc doesn’t mean it tastes like cardboard.
Furthermore, it allows me to enjoy food with people who need a specific diet & means I know how to accommodate friends with dietary needs when they come over.

This was another one of those dishes that I thought would taste just nice and actually then tasted far more amazing than expected which left me regretting I didn’t make a bigger batch.
Super easy to make and helps you get another veg into your day, plus it’s a nice change from the usual white or sweet potato chips and is lower in the carbs so I don’t feel guilty about the mayo, woohoo!
Other benefits to eating more parsnips include the nutritional bonus of fibre (keeps you full even though they’re not high in calories), potassium (great for heart & BP), manganese and vitamins K and C.

This is honestly one of the best combos I’ve ever come across and soooo simply to make, go get some, you know you want to!
I’ve given the recipe instructions 2 ways, so you can choose whichever way suits you/the meal you’re having e.g 1 banopsicle is great as a healthy, not overly filling dessert or you can have it as breakfast/lunch nicecream (uses half the recipe) and serve with whatever you have on hand e.g fruit, granola etc.
I often find that for some dishes almond butter is too rich so I prefer cashew & with this recipe it pairs amazing well with the sweet banana & chocolatey cacao to give one of the creamiest, most delicious “icecreams” I’ve ever tasted (that includes dairy ones).

Great pre or post workout meal, full of fibre, protein, good fats and tastes delicious to boot!
I love it when I make something like this that tastes really good, doesn’t feel healthy yet you know it is & provides you with good nutrition.
Use dairy free options for the milk and choc chips as needed.
