Easy blackberry Barbie icing
Barbie icing?! Well what else could I call it?
I absolutely love this icing but especially the colour and I first made it just after the Barbie movie came out so it seemed like a logical name.
The colour is all natural and comes from blackberry juice, I also used a sugar free alternative to icing sugar (that you can find in Tesco) in order to make this refined sugar free but still fun so you don’t miss out on anything!
No bake rich chocolate torte
No bake, rich, dark chocolate torte made with natural ingredients and can be refined sugar, gluten & dairy free!
Such an easy dessert with nutrition, fiber and rich chocolate goodness, plus you can make this a head of time and bring to room temp before serving. It is also a great option for anyone with allergies as it is easy to make gluten or dairy free and you can decorate this however you like and tailor the flavour of the choc however you choose very easily so it’s quite versatile too.
Easy banana protein oat cookies
Sometimes you just want a snack to tide you over in between meals or maybe just something small with a bit of fruit for those of you who don’t have a huge appetite at breakfast but want to get more goodness into your day. Then these are a great way to do that, plus, no added sugar!
I used a plant protein here to balance out the carbs but it also makes a good post exercise snack until you can get home/to work to make a proper breakfast. These cookies are also pretty flexible in terms of adding different ingredients to make them taste they way you want. I like coconut and berries as I used a white choc coconut flavour protein but you can do whatever you like such as spices e,g cinnamon/ginger or some chopped dark chocolate!
