Once again I just started chucking what ingredients I had spare into my porridge and this beauty came out of it. I mean come on! It’s creamy, warm, thick and has a chocolatey crunch to it, what’s not to like!?
Plus it’s refined sugar free by using a really ripe banana for natural sweetness and cacao products for a choc hit.

Cookie dough oatmeal Breakfast Lunch snack
Cookie dough oats, best way to start your day ever!!

I really recommend using the maca if you have it as it gives the dish a rich, malty, almost caramel like flavour to it and really complements the other ingredients.
I know the egg white might seem a bit strange but it helps to make it nice and thick and adds some good, lean protein in there, also a great option if you’ve just done a workout/heading off to the gym.

Healthy cookie dough oats recipeĀ (serves 1)

-Serve up with a sprinkling of cacao nibs on top
