Delicious, guilt free, 4 ingredients, made with real food, packed with Vit C and 2/5 a day, seriously what more could you ask for?!
TIP: Try to peel away as much of the pith on the orange as possible & try to remove any seeds if you’re using bigger oranges as you don’t want these in your icecream.
Recipe (Makes 1 big glass or 2 smaller ones)
-1 medium banana coined & frozen
-120g-150g orange segments, separated & frozen
-1 tspn cacao powder
-20ml any type milk
Optional: 1 heaped tspn nut butter, sprinkling cacao nibs
It’s good to freeze any bananas/oranges for times when you want to make this “icecream” or a plain banana one, however if you haven’t already done this then allow at least 2-3 hours for freezing before making this.
Take out the fruit and allow to chill for 5mins while you gather the other ingredients and food processor. Then simply blend all the ingredients together (include the nibs if you want them dispersed throughout your icecream or else keep them as a topping) until smooth.
Pop into your favourite bowl/glass and enjoy, guilt free, woo!!
