Raw chocolate pistachio goji hearts Desserts Grainfree vegan I was really craving some chocolate recently and had some spare pistachios leftover & these beauties were the result & oh so good for you too!

Recipe:
*50g cacao butter
*2 generous tablespoons cacao powder
*2 tablespoons sweetener (i like to use sweet freedom)
*a tspn vanilla essence
*50g pistachios/gojis/ other nuts e.g nut butter however i found that when using nut butter it tends to seep out of the edges so using whole nuts is handier.

You can grind up or bash the pistachios into a powder if you’d prefer that or just keep them whole
Gently melt the cacao butter in a bowl over hot water, add the sweetener and stir, take off the heat and stir in the vanilla and powder.
Half fill your mould with the cacao mix then put them into the freezer for 1hour, take them out and place the pistachios/gojis or whichever filling you choose into the mould and cover with more cacao mix and freeze again for about another hour.

You can easily make bit batches to freeze, that way they last you longer. I used the heart silicon mould which you get with most raw chocolate kits and got about 13 good chocolate from this amount.
As ive mentioned in a post before http://dontfrigwithmyfood.blogspot.co.uk/2015/04/healthy-chocolate.html this kind of chocolate is so much better for you than regular shop bought stuff, plus if you’re the kind of person who likes their chocolate darker or doesn’t want too much sugar in it then these are great as you can control how sweet or strong you make the flavour, you can also experiment a bit to find what flavours suit your taste buds.
Enjoy!
